I just heard that apparently Spain’s economy is in a bit of trouble. This is in addition to the troubles in Greece and leads me to only one thought. If it isn’t too much trouble, could a few more European economies collapse? Please?
Now, you might think this wish is selfish. And, you would be right. You see, with the current Spain woes the Euro fell as low as $1.24572. That in and of itself might not be such a big deal, if I wasn’t trying to budget for my wife spending a month in France to study in July.
You see, I will need Euros. Quite a bit of Euros in fact. As one might expect, the more the Euro falls, the more Euros I will be able to get for my wife’s time in France (and my shorter time in France at the end of July).
So, please, anybody who can take down a few more European economies please do so. Perhaps Lichtenstein could take a hit. Or Italy. Whatever really, I could just use a cheaper Euro for a little bit.
