National Talk Like a Pirate Day be tomorrow and I just wanted t’ remind everyone t’ actually talk like a pirate. It’s sad t’ way that our observance o’ this holiday gets lazier every year, fewer and fewer people actually talkin’ like pirates. I hope this post changes thin’s just a little bit tomorrow for even one person.
(By t’ way, I wrote this post in normal English and then translated it t’ pirate usin’ t’ pirate translator over at t’ Official National Talk Like a Pirate Day site.)
After all, t’ holiday has gotten so commercial anymore. All people care about be t’ shoppin’ and t’ presents. They’ve gotten so wrapped up in all t’ decorations and TV specials, t’ eggnog and t’ carolin’, t’ trees and t’ turkey. It’s just so easy in all o’ that t’ forget t’ true reason for t’ season. That reason, o’ course, be t’ talk like a pirate.
So, please, observe this holiday t’ way that it is Ahoy! posed t’ be observed. Talk like a pirate tomorrow. Sometimes, all we need be a little reminder.
Wait, be I confusin’ this with Christmas again?
