About

This blog features my random thoughts, such as they are.  I don’t really have a particular subject matter, just whatever strikes my fancy.  I’m a writer, but this isn’t restricted to writing- other than the fact of course that my random thoughts on the world are the same thing that work their way into my writing.

Beyond that, I received my MFA from the University of Nebraska. My writing appears in “Grey Sparrow Journal,” “Interrobang?! Magazine,” “Atticus Review,” and others. My novel in short story form, Bones Buried in the Dirt, was published in January 2013 by River Otter Press (available at Amazon.com and Tattered Cover). My writing website is http://davidsatkinsonwriting.com/.

I don’t know if you got my message about mt Pisgah, it is made up of junk cars and dirt, I wanted to send you a pic, I have one of it in the distance with my house in the foreground, you used to have to pay to go up there, beautiful views, and junk cars embedded into the hill. now it is privately owned
