Cindy Michaels and Tony Consiglio Are Awesome

I have to say, Cindy Michaels and Tony Consiglio are awesome. As I understand it, the two were co-anchors for a news station in Maine. I say ‘were’ because apparently they got fed up with their bosses and quit on the air.

That is awesome.

Mind you, I don’t know a whole lot of details about this. You can read a bit more about this here. Their bosses even apparently claim that the two were on the way out anyway. Regardless, there is just something that charms me about news anchors getting fed up and quitting on live (I assume) television. This has to be one of the best resignations (or pairs of them) ever.

Of course, I don’t know the full story. I don’t even really know the details. This just seems like a cool thing to do. Whatever the story is behind this, I find it entertaining and wish both of them the best in whatever employment they choose to seek next.
