For example, one of my cats was sitting on my lap while I was reading on my bed the other night. She wanted petted at first, but then she was good with that and started cleaning herself, leaving me free to read. However, she wasn’t paying enough attention while cleaning and slid off of my leg. Why was this so funny to me? Is it because cats are normally so graceful that we enjoy them being taken down a peg? That possibility doesn’t seem very nice.

Regardless, it was very funny.
