Will I Break A Reading Record This Year Or Not?

It’s getting close to the end of the year and I’m wondering whether I’ll break a reading record or not. As of the time I’m writing this, I’ve read 288 books, or approximately 82,281 pages. We still have about two weeks left in 2014. How much more am I going to end up reading?

By way of contrast, I read 313 books (approximately 87,181 pages) in 2013, 247 books (approximately 73,381 pages) in 2012, and 318 books (approximately 89,936 pages) in 2011.

I’ve already beat 2012. I’ll likely break 300. Will I break 313? How about 318? That seems less likely…but you never know.

I doubt anyone other than me is even concerned with this, but I felt like talking about it anyway. It at least gave me something to post about today.

  1. I feel like a reading asshole now. I don’t even know if I broke 20. Definitely one of my few resolutions for next year.
