I just saw an article about how indoor tanning can lead to all kinds of problems that may or may not require hospitalization, such as burns, fainting, eye injuries, and increased risk of skin cancer. One thing they don’t mention indoor tanning can lead to? Tans.
Seriously though, does the data in this article surprise anyone? Aren’t all these risks pretty well known? I can understand them pushing for more regulation on youth indoor tanning, but most people should already understand that indoor tanning carries significant risks.
This should not be news.
Whatever. Maybe they’re saying that we need to use artificial tanning beds outside.
