Other Things Kanye Can Insist Beyoncé Should Have Won

I’m sure you’ve already heard about Kanye West getting up on stage when Beck won at the grammys because he thought Beyoncé should have won. We all, of course, still remember the Taylor Swift incident. Now, I really don’t want to get into whether I thought these incidents were rude or arrogant behavior (which I tend to), or whether or not he might still have had a legitimate beef with the awards system (which he might have, though I haven’t listened to Taylor Swift or Beyoncé much at all and at least not Beck’s latest album, or Kanye for that matter). What I want to talk about is how Kanye should think about branching out.

After all, why just storm music award ceremony stages because he thinks Beyoncé should have won an award? Here are some other idea of things Mr. West could disrupt events to insist Beyoncé deserved to win:

– The War of 1812

– Custody of Cai, daughter of Ludacris

– The Thrilla in Manila

– The 2015 Super Bowl

– The Wednesday February 12, 2015 Powerball drawing

– The argument over climate change

– The State of Tennessee v. John Thomas Scopes

– The Gold medal in fencing at the 1964 summer olympics in Tokyo, Japan

See? Why is Kanye holding back? There are so many more things he could be insisting Beyoncé should have won. Award ceremonies for music are just the tip of the iceberg. I sense a lack of real committment here.
