Snarkiness At Myself

I was excited to hear that Def Leppard was going to do a tour this summer with Styx and Tesla. However, my first thought was actually snarky at myself. I thought of what they could call the tour: If you were here, you’d be old by now.

I thought it was funny, but these are bands from my era (Styx was only formed a few years before I was born but I was definitely alive when Def Leppard formed and was in somewhere around second or third grade when Tesla formed). They certainly aren’t young bands anymore and I was making a joke on myself. Granted, I’m sure people younger than me listen to all of these bands, or at least one or two of them.

I’m sure it’ll be a good show, but I bet it won’t be like the shows in the 80s. I wonder how many people will still dress like it is. Could be very sad.
