I’m Not Mowing My Grass Until The HOA (Or Whatever It Is) Mows By The Curb

I’m not mowing my grass until the HOA mow by the curb. Actually, I don’t think it’s an HOA. It’s something. Whatever. Regardless, I’m not mowing until they mow by the curb.

You see, I have very little lawn to worry about at my house. I have a little patch about 5 feet by 1 1/2 feet on one side of my steps and a slightly larger patch about maybe 12 feet by 1 1/2 feet on the other side. I have so little grass that I cut it with a weed wacker. I do have to mow it, but it’s not much. Still, I’m very lazy about it.

There is a strip by the curb that’s about 20 feet by 2 feet. However, I don’t have to mow this. I did it once and it was much more work, only to find out the HOA (or whatever it is) did that as part of our annual fees. I never did it again.

So I have to mow at least part of the little grass I have, but hate doing it. The HOA doesn’t start doing the curb until a certain point in the year. Until then, even as long as the portion I’m responsible for is getting, why would I mow it? It’s would just look weird against the unmowed, wild curb.

Screw that.
