I Wonder What Will Happen Every Time I Get Home Before My Wife And The Lobster Food Truck Is Outside The Brewery

Sometimes I get home from work before my wife. I usually get the mail, so I tend to walk past the brewery by our house on the way there. They often have food trucks parked outside. Sometimes it’s the lobster food truck. Whenever these events line up, I wonder what will happen.

After all, the plan is usually to make dinner with something we have at home sometime after she gets there. We eat out some, but not as much as we used to. We started doing one of those meal delivery things so we could cook more at home and eat at restaurants less. However, all bets can be off on this if the lobster food truck is there.

After all, why not just shift the meal delivery a night? Why not have lobster sandwiches and/or lobster mac and cheese instead?

Why not indeed. Whenever I see this on the way home and my wife is still on her way, I wonder what will happen when she sees that truck.
